Post natal fitness recovery class based on Yoga and Pilates techniques with an anatomical focus and pelvic floor awareness.

We will aim to :
Strengthen your deep core muscles
Regain pelvic floor connection
Build strength in your arms and neck to relieve pain when breastfeeding or carrying your baby
Build your glutes to help relieve lower back pain
Breathe and relax the mind

A group is created to generate engagement, social positivity and support in order to achieve monthly goals together.
You shall be taken care of and addressed as per your needs depending on how your birth was and what your body requires.
Conducting a correct post natal exercise routine is extremely important in order to get the pelvic floor, deep core and back muscles stronger again in order to avoid future problems such as incontinence, pains, prolapses etc.
Classes are varied in content, dynamic, inclusive of your child should you come over with him/her and most importantly, fun!!
Conducted in English. Instructor speaks French and Spanish too.

About the teacher :
Instructor Rocío has a baby herself and understands first hand how the body changes, how hormones impact physical activity and how to move safely post birth.
Trained in pre and post natal exercises with a strong background in anatomy and biomechanics, her classes are individually adapted to each particular case.
With a mix of flexibility and strength based movements together with breathing exercises and pelvic floor awareness techniques your body will slowly recuperate from having adapted throughout the course of 9 months to having grown a baby within you.
Rocío is the founder of Activ Wellness. A certified Pilates and Yoga instructor with an anatomical and brain-based approach, she specialises in supporting mums-to-be throughout pregnancy and beyond and adds her holistic nutritional advice for 360° coverage
